The National Tsing Hua University Special Education Center will host the 2024 TSSE International Academic Conference on Inclusive Education from October 29 (Tuesday) to October 31 (Thursday), 2024. The aim of this conference is to promote international discussions and academic exchanges on professional topics related to inclusive education. Through keynote speeches, forum discussions, and paper presentations, the conference will provide a platform for professionals and individuals interested in fostering a friendly and inclusive educational environment to share experiences. The goal is to enhance international participation and broaden the learning perspectives on inclusive education.
The conference is now calling for papers on the following topics:
- Exploring the current implementation and future development of inclusive education
- Investigating feasible operational models for collaboration between general and special education in inclusive education policies
- Exploring the possibilities and feasibility of reasonable accommodations under inclusive education
- Examining the impact of Universal Design and Learning Technology on students with special education needs
- A retrospective and outlook on Taiwan's Special Education Act as it celebrates its 40th anniversary
We invite professors to submit papers and encourage students to participate in oral or poster presentations. A certificate of presentation will be provided, and several outstanding papers will be selected for awards at the closing ceremony.
