Undergraduate Admission (No Group Classification)

Psychology is a discipline that spans both natural and social sciences. It explores the brain and behavior, covering topics from infant development to adult social behavior. Since psychology accommodates a wide range of interests and aptitudes, we do not categorize admissions by specific groups.

• Undergraduate Admission Pathways
  • Updated Admission Criteria for the 114th Academic Year:

1. Star Plan Admission（Requires a minimum math proficiency standard. Applicants must rank in the top 50% of their graduating class.）
2. Application-Based Admission（Requires a minimum math proficiency standard. Admission is based on : 30% General Scholastic Ability Test (GSAT): Chinese, English、70% Document Review、No interview required.）
3. Distribution-Based Admission（GSAT subjects: Chinese, English、Subject-Specific Test: Mathematics B）
4. Undergraduate Transfer Exam
   • Winter Transfer Exam: Registration and guidelines are typically announced between December and January, with exams held in January.
   • Summer Transfer Exam: Registration and guidelines are typically announced between June and July, with exams held in July.

• Master's Program Admission (General Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology)

1. Recommendation-Based Admission: Registration and guidelines are typically announced between October and November. Applicants must submit all required documents before the deadline.
2. Entrance Exam Admission: Registration and guidelines are typically announced between January and February, with exams held in March.

The department does not have an independent admission process. Current pathways include individual application, distribution-based admission, and the Star Plan.
