Admissions Notice for Fo Guang University Graduate Programs

• Spring Festival Break: From February 8 to February 19, 2024, the university will be closed for the Spring Festival. Please make inquiries regarding the application during regular working hours by calling 03-9871000 ext. 11131, 11133.

• Master’s Program and In-Service Master’s Program:

  • For applicants applying to two or more programs (including dual majors), the second program will be free of application fees.

• Fo Guang University Graduate Scholarships:

  • Xing Yun Scholarship: For undergraduate alumni admitted to a graduate program (excluding in-service master’s or doctoral programs) who rank in the top 15% of their class during at least half of their semesters. The first semester will receive a scholarship of NT$17,500, and it can be renewed if the student continues to rank in the top 15% for subsequent semesters (up to two years).
  • Ministry of Science and Technology Research Creation Scholarship: For students who participate in the Ministry of Science and Technology's research projects and win research creation awards, a scholarship of NT$100,000 will be given (awarded only in the admission semester).
  • Continuous Study Master’s Degree Scholarship: For students who are approved for continuous study from undergraduate to master’s degree, the first semester receives NT$25,000, and the second semester can be renewed if the student continues to rank in the top 15% of their class, for a total of one year.

  • Department of Psychology (Clinical Psychology, General Psychology)
  • Sociology and Social Work Department (Sociology, Social Work)
  • Department of Public Affairs (International and Cross-Strait Affairs, Policy and Administration Management)
  • Department of Applied Economics, Management, Buddhist Studies (Chinese and English Tracks)
  • School of Leisure Industry (Sustainable Development and Future Studies, Integrated Health and Life, Healthy Food and Tourism Management)
• In-Service Master’s Programs: Applied Economics, Public Affairs, Management

2. Application Method:

• Applications must be submitted online, followed by mailing the required application documents.

3. Application Dates:

• Master’s Programs: December 19, 2023 – February 29, 2024
• In-Service Master’s Programs: February 21 – March 26, 2024
• Doctoral Programs: February 21 – March 26, 2024

  • Department of Psychology (First Exam): March 8, 2024 (Friday)
  • Department of Psychology (Second Exam): March 22, 2024 (Friday)
