[Announcement] Reiteration of Important Notice on Credit Transfer for Fo Guang University 113-2 Semester – Please Take Note

1. Eligible Applicants:
   Students eligible for credit transfer include transfer students, students switching majors or departments, five-year integrated program students, re-enrolled students, and credit program students. This includes:

   • Undergraduate students changing majors
   • Master's or Ph.D. students transferring departments
   • Undergraduate transfer students
   • New students admitted based on university (or junior college) graduation or withdrawal regulations
   • Students who first took credit courses and were later admitted to a degree program
   • Graduate students who took master's courses in advance during their undergraduate studies
   • Students approved by the university for dual-degree programs with proof of course credits
   • Re-enrolled graduate students within the same college/department of the university

2. Credit Transfer Application Period:
   For the 113-2 semester, applications must be submitted after the relevant meetings and before the course add/drop deadline on February 24 (Monday) of the same semester. Applications are generally accepted only once, and late submissions will not be processed.

   • February 19 (Wednesday): Deadline for submission to relevant units (General Education, College, Departments).
   • February 20 (Thursday) – February 21 (Friday): Initial review by the curriculum committee of each unit.
   • February 24 (Monday): Submission of application forms to the Academic Affairs Office (Registration and Curriculum Section).
   • February 25 (Tuesday), before 18:00: System will gradually announce the credit transfer results.

3. Credit Transfer Principles:

   • Courses with the same title and credit hours are prioritized for approval.
   • If the course title differs, the course content must be at least 80% similar, and the reviewing unit must provide justification for approval.
   • Applicants must submit original transcripts or credit certification along with the course syllabus or teaching plan from the previous institution for review.

4. All 113-2 semester credit transfer applications will be processed according to the designated procedures.
