📣 Student Counseling Center, Fu Jen Catholic University: Recruitment for Full-time Intern Psychologists (2026 Academic Year) 📣

I. Eligibility and Openings

  • Eligibility: Current graduate students (Master’s or Doctoral programs) in psychology, counseling, or related fields. Applicants must have completed relevant counseling coursework and a practicum (part-time internship).

  • Openings: 3 positions (Please specify preference for Class A, Class B, or both).

    • Class A (2 positions): 09:00–18:00

    • Class B (1 position): 13:00–21:00 (Hours subject to change based on center operations. If no one applies for Class B, the three interns will rotate evening shifts.)

II. Internship Period July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Following center office hours, interns are required to complete 32 hours per week (including on-site supervision).

III. Internship Content

  • Individual counseling (including intake interviews) and group counseling.

  • Mental health promotion (large lectures, lunch dates, classroom guidance, thematic workshops, and other mental health activities).

  • Psychological assessment, implementation, and interpretation.

  • Assisting with email consultation responses.

  • Recording Podcasts.

  • Counseling-related administrative duties (high-risk student follow-up calls, event support, etc.).

  • Supervision and Training:

    • The center provides on-site supervision (1 hour of professional supervision/week, 1 group supervision case presentation/semester, 1 administrative supervision/month, and growth group supervision as scheduled).

    • Mandatory participation in pre-service training (tentatively scheduled for June 22–24, 2026; dates to be confirmed).

    • Participation in professional development training held periodically by the center.

IV. Rights and Obligations

  • Interns may participate in case conferences and professional seminars hosted by the center.

  • Interns must complete all professional records (intake, counseling, testing, and closing reports) on time within the center.

  • To protect client rights, all recordings and written data must not be taken out of the center. Prior written consent is required if data is needed for university supervision.

  • Interns must adhere to their university’s internship regulations and coordinate with the center in advance.

  • Interns must follow institutional and professional ethics. The center reserves the right to terminate the internship for ethical violations.

  • Leave requests must not interfere with center operations.

  • A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful fulfillment of the internship.

  • An internship stipend will be provided based on the center’s budget for the year.

  5. Reflections on past clinical/case experience based on your counseling style.

VI. Review Process

  • Stage 2 (Interview): Interviews will take place on December 12, 2025. Results will be announced on December 12 or December 16, 2025.
