What did the Psychology Department at Fo Guang University offer you?
As a new immigrant, being able to study clinical psychology at Fo Guang University was a rare and valuable opportunity. The university provides scholarship programs for new immigrant students, which gave me a sense of support and encouragement during my studies.

The psychology program at Fo Guang University not only allowed me to explore myself, enhancing my self-awareness and reflection, but also provided a rigorous and practical learning experience through the clinical psychology track. The professional training I received became a solid foundation for applying psychological knowledge in the workplace.

Impressions of the Psychology Department at Fo Guang University
The course selection is highly flexible, allowing students to take interdisciplinary courses. During my studies, I took a course on "Non-Profit Organizations," which greatly helped me in managing an association.

Additionally, the department offers various workshops, such as hypnotherapy and play therapy, providing opportunities to learn from experienced therapists in the field and explore different therapeutic techniques.

A Message for High School Students
Be brave in exploring what truly interests you—your passions will keep you motivated to move forward. Both high school and university life come with challenges, but believe in yourself. Every difficulty you encounter is a chance to practice problem-solving.

Allow yourself to feel shame and pain, but also allow yourself to be disliked and to be loved. All of these experiences will become valuable nourishment for your future growth.
