The Clinical Psychology Track at Fo Guang University has been established for 10 years, providing a small-class, refined teaching environment. All full-time faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from National Taiwan University. The faculty's research expertise covers important areas in clinical psychology, such as emotional disorders, trauma, mindfulness, attachment, and interpersonal interactions, and they are all key figures in clinical psychology professional associations.
With dedicated faculty providing comprehensive guidance and training, along with various extracurricular learning resources, students in the Clinical Psychology Track not only receive complete core clinical training but also have opportunities to attend lectures and workshops led by experts in various fields (e.g., play therapy, forensic psychology, judicial psychology, and geriatric psychology), enriching their professional knowledge and enhancing their competitiveness.
Since the first cohort of graduates took the national exam, the cumulative pass rate has reached an impressive 93%. Graduates have also quickly found employment in hospital settings, becoming clinical psychologists in white coats, providing care to patients.
Fo Guang University’s Clinical Psychology Track, based in Yilan, is dedicated to training clinical psychologists and has become a new hub for nurturing the next generation of professionals in the field.
