Responsibilities |
- A quietly dedicated individual unit, the frontline of "service."
- Responsible for being the solid support for department faculty while also assisting in resolving various questions posed by students with innocent, wide-eyed curiosity.
Job Responsibilities:I. Department Administrative Work
- Handling, signing, and archiving internal and external electronic documents and correspondence.
- Organizing and recording department meetings, curriculum meetings, and subcommittee meetings, as well as revising departmental regulations.
- Managing departmental library resources, teaching instruments, and computer peripherals. (For equipment maintenance, please contact the General Affairs Office, Library & Information Center, or submit a repair request.)
- Designing, managing, and maintaining the department’s website and data.
- Safeguarding, inventorying, purchasing, and receiving departmental finances and assets.
- Preparing, executing, managing, and reimbursing various budgetary funds.
- Coordinating various evaluation tasks (departmental evaluation, teaching quality assurance, faculty evaluation, university affairs evaluation, and affiliated center evaluations).
- Planning and managing department space, overseeing key distribution and lending, and managing access control systems.
- Compiling various databases.
- Establishing and maintaining the alumni database and services.
II. General Academic Affairs
- Assisting undergraduate, graduate (General Psychology track, Clinical Psychology track), and credit program students with course selection.
- Assisting transfer students with credit exemptions during winter and summer breaks.
- Reviewing graduation qualifications.
- Managing graduate program entrance exams (General Psychology and Clinical Psychology tracks) and undergraduate admissions processes (including the Star Plan, application-based admission, and regular distribution admission).
- Administering master's degree examinations, organizing and uploading thesis abstracts and full-text submissions (General Psychology and Clinical Psychology tracks).
- Planning, offering, and coordinating courses, as well as managing course registration in the academic information system.
- Promoting and recruiting students for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Managing student records, including enrollment, leave of absence, withdrawal, credit transfers, degree examination applications, graduation credit audits, internship administration, and handling special circumstances.
- Handling faculty recruitment, promotion, and evaluations.
- Managing classrooms, laboratories, and departmental assets.
- Supervising work-study students and assigning tasks.
- Supporting departmental student association activities.
III. Visits and Other Activities
- Organizing lectures by department faculty and distinguished guests.
- Coordinating off-campus academic and teaching visits.
- Assisting with various tasks and activities in cooperation with the college, administrative offices, and university-wide events.
