The Temptation of Self-Harm: A Discussion on Borderline Personality Disorder

Location: Tamkang University, Taipei Campus
Capacity: Limited to 40 participants. If fewer than 20 sign up by March 1, 2025, the course will be postponed.
Target Audience: Helpers, university/graduate students.
Credit Certification: Full participation in this course will grant 12 hours of credit. Application for certification points for counselors, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, etc., is in progress.

Recent years have seen continuous developments and reports on the treatment of personality disorders. Medication has only an auxiliary effect, and short-term psychotherapy is not recommended. Long-term psychotherapy is considered the most suitable treatment approach. Various theoretical schools have developed distinct therapeutic models for treating personality disorders. This workshop invites domestic experts specializing in personality disorder treatment to explain both domestic and international theories and treatment approaches from different perspectives.
