To honor Professor Kuo-Shu Yang’s dedication to the promotion of indigenous Chinese psychological research, and to encourage studies that reflect the characteristics of Chinese culture or social context, the Kuo-Shu Yang Travel Grant is awarded annually to outstanding student participants who present papers at the Annual Conference of the Taiwan Psychological Association.
This grant aims to encourage currently enrolled students (including undergraduate and graduate students) to deliver oral presentations at the conference. A total of six outstanding students will be selected for funding.

To honor Professor Hsiang-Yu Su’s contribution in founding the Taiwan Psychological Association and promoting psychology education, the Association has established the Professor Hsiang-Yu Su Psychology Thesis Award, which is presented annually at the Association’s Annual Conference.

To promote Professor Kuo-Shu Yang’s vision for indigenous Chinese psychology, the Association has established the Professor Kuo-Shu Yang Indigenous Chinese Psychology Research Paper Award, also presented annually at the Association’s Annual Conference.

Applicants may only apply for one of the awards mentioned above; multiple applications are not allowed.

Eligible researchers and master’s/doctoral students are encouraged to apply. Institutions are kindly requested to recommend qualified candidates to the Association by July 31, 2025, in accordance with the selection guidelines.
